Hi! So my husband is in the army and we recently found out that we will be pcsing in June2013 to Germany. I'm excited but was wondering, are there any users on here from Germany? Does this even work in Germany? Are the foods I eat going to even be in the data base!? Any helps appreciated thanks!

  • Hi T34418I3angel,
I am from germany and it works for me.
I assume that all what you put in your database will be also saved.
But you might have several problems to find the same food in the grocery stores.

Hope you will have a good time in Germany!

Hey, I'm in Germany, too. I can confirm that this works here, too. You'll find that a lot of local food has already been added to the database, even limited edition stuff. Other than that, most foods here have very good nutrition information on their labels, so you can add them yourself.

We were in Ramstein for 1 1/2 years. MFP not only works there but a lot of the local foods are already in the data base. Anything that isn't you can always just add.

I live in Germany, I come from the UK though.

I find I have to add a lot of foods in myself, but sometimes what I'm looking for happens to be there.

Works fine for me too here in Germany. I can find products from France, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Belgium in the system too. So you'll be fine. If it doesn't appear, you can always add it yourself with all the info on the side of the products, you just might need to translate what is what into English.

Works fine in all of Europe - I'm in the Wiesbaden, DE area and the only issue I have is conversion of metric units every once in a while.

Every once in a while a barcode scan comes up with a different item (German codes can go to multiple brands - same item) but not an issue.
