I have sprained my ankles one too many times and I really need a good pair of joggers to help support my ankles when i’m running etc, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or are using a pair that are helping with your ankles? Cheers

My sister and I have got glass ankles- constantly going over them!! The best thing you need to do is strengthen them, go to a physio for exercises or work on balance exercises to tighten them.
I am better now and only occasionally go over them (about once a year)
My sister bought supports and she has no strength in her ankles that she has to wear them everytime she exercises or she falls over. Don't use shoes or braces or anything else to support you as you are making the situation worse. She has damaged them so much that the consultant wants to give her surgery to tighten the tendons.
If you run a lot keep the runs shorter and watch your feet. It works for me and I was running in the woods/mud/roots etc. Making a conscious effort does help. Everytime I have gone over them is because I wasn't paying attention.
Hope this helps.0 -
I have weak ankles too, and I love New Balance. I can't think of the actual name of the shoe I wear. But if you go to a New Balance store, the staff should be able to help you. I just walk in, say I have weak ankles, and they lead me to the shoes I should look at. They will help with fit and give you tips and such too.0
