eating too much protein

I am over by 20 on my protein today, does that present a problem?

If you are using MFP's settings it's probably a good thing in my opinion.

NO....MFP sets protein ridiculously low....I am 5'8 female and 176lbs...I eat 115g of protein minimum per day.....It's good for you if you don't have kidney or other health issues....

Are you doing any strength training? Most people here recommend eating around 1 g protein per lb of lean body weight or 30% calories from protein. Have a look at groups like "In place of a road map" for example.

I always aim to eat more protein than MFP's settings. I never worry about going over on protein, fiber, or even fat (the fat in my diet mostly comes from olive oil, coconut oil, or nuts). The MFP targets I am careful to try to stay under are definitely carbs, calories, and sugar.
