I am new to MFP :-) looking to lose 20lbs

Hey there! My 28th birthday is coming up in about a week and I just went through a rough break up with my now ex-bf. Anyhow, I started off at 157lbs and I stand @ 5'3" I've been successful in losing 9lbs in the past 6-7 weeks. I just started tracking my food down in MFP on my phone.
Just a little bit of background on myself. I am at 26.5% body fat and 148lbs currently, I've had personal trainers in the past but stopped working out and just put on fat due to lack of motivation. I tend to put on muscle very easily so I'm aiming to do more cardio based work outs rather than lifting. I used to have an eating disorder when between ages 13-23 so it's been quite a journey. I just want to do this the right way and the healthy way.
I want to lose 20lbs but I might just aim to lose 6-7% of body fat instead since that's more of an indicator of health and fitness than BMI. I'm starting all over again! I've picked up a lot of information from personal trainers I've had in the past and I once had a nutritionist. I am looking to get back in shape to get healthy and look/feel better in my clothes. And of course my mental health!
Feel free to add me, maybe we can share tips and/or motivate each other! thanks

Thank you! My scheduled is so packed which presents a challenge. I work full time and I go to school full time. Softball season just ended for work so I have a little time on the weekends to catch up with working out. Good luck to you!0
