Has anyone read The Eat Clean Diet book by Tosca Reno? What are your thoughts on it? Is it harder to prepare food, or can you still find shortcuts and ways to make food on the go, for a busy family?

I have read her books - very good btw. Although I don't follow her program exactly I have incorporated much of it into my diet. I'm eating far less processed foods, more whole foods. And I try to get the following in each meal: complex carb, protein, veggies/fruit. I do feel a lot better not eating as much processed foods too. There's some of course I won't give up, like ice cream - gotta have a little at night :) but I also like Balance Bars (protein bars). I think they are fairly clean, but super convenient way to get my protein in during the day.

I've read one of her books. The book was ok but as for me I was better off counting calories and packing my lunches. Also, slowly altering my eating habits worked.

I have read it and really liked it. I am not following it completely as I am vegetarian but I really like the principle of clean eating and feel so much better and healthier!

You can cook your won recipes you might just have to change a few ingredients. It will be great for your kids to grow up without consuming loads of chemicals.

That's the goal! I hate chemicals. I realize they are in our every day lives, but I would like to try and eliminate what I can. There are certain things I don't want to have to give up, but for the most part I would love to eat cleaner, and have my hubs and son eat cleaner as well. We nixed a lot of the packaged foods a long time ago, but there is always room for more improvement!
