5km run first thing put 482 calories in the bag.
Check my food diary.. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/gordonby007

It's 8:30pm, and i'm not hungry.
I have eaten 1558 calories and have 474 remaining
Should i be eating more tonight??? I could probably choke down a protein shake i have in the fridge.

There's no requirement to eat back your exercise calories, and if you're not hungry, no reason to force it. I would, instead, choose to look at today, tomorrow, maybe even the next day as "cumulative," and allow yourself a little extra lee-way if you do prove to be especially hungry tomorrow.
  • Took the shake after 40 push ups (ive still got a mental link between the shakes and exerxise , but I'm working on it.)
Feels like a good food day, but am sure the calories are still a little low for most peoples liking...
    I'm trying....
  • If you are losing and not hungry...Don't eat! This site is the only place on the planet that people are so...shall we say passionate, about "eating back your exercise calories". I don't get it personally, but whatever works for those people.

I was told that as long as I ate my minimum requirement (1200 calories, that's what I need to just survive) then I was okay.
