Question for married men with kids

What's the relationship with your daughters about? How is your love different for daughters than sons? What about your wife? (Noticed a thread here where a married man listed his daughter as his favorite person).

    That's a good question. I honestly don't know if I can answer it. I have a daughter and a son, but I am WAY closer with my daughter than him. I love them both the same but we share a much tighter bond. I can't even describe it really. I've never been more protective and close with anyone in all my life. I guess there is just a special bond between a father and a daughter. My son has the same kind of bond with my wife. I never understood how much I could love a person until my daughter came into my life.

    It's interesting, the way fathers get jealous and protective over their daughters, or brothers over their sisters.
