Does anyone else get super hungry after running?

I haven't run in awhile, but I went for a 2ish mile run yesterday and now I've been starving all morning! I've been eating pretty much every hour since I've gotten up, but I'm still hungry. Does anyone else get this?

It's just your body telling you to replenish your glycogen reserves. The more you run the less you'll experience this (the human body is remarkably adaptable) I do find, however, that after my long Sunday runs (15 to 20km) I am absolutely ravenous and don't feel the slightest bit guilty tucking into a 1000 cal brunch.0

When I first started running I felt like I couldnt get enough food, ever. Now that I run a lot, I dont feel that way too often. Actually, on Sundays after my double digit runs, I hardly feel like eating at all. Shorter runs also suppress my appetite but for a much short time frame. Usually on Mondays I feel hungry though.0

This is like me, but put in "any exercise at all" in place of running (I can almost run again! almost!). And now I'm hungry all the time. I'm like a hobbit, 8 meals a day. I'm not sure what an elevensies is but I feel like I should be incorporating that, too.0 -
I'm the opposite - I can't eat before I run cause I feel like crap and get side stiches and I don't get hungry until about 2 hours afterwards.0
