I workout very intensely with P90X & Insanity, and have added in a 2 mile high paced walk in. I have been doing the Videos since January switch it up after I finish on set. I have been flucuating between 156 lbs and 150 lbs for 4 months now, I can't manage to get it to drop below 150 lbs. I started p90x/insanity hybrid 2 months ago, after month 1 i gained back 8 1/2 inches of the 18 1/2 inches I lost with Insanity alone before the hybrid, now after month 2, i lost only 3 1/2 inches of the 8 1/2 i gained back. I don't know what else to do, i average over 800 calories burned everyday except Sunday. On MWF in do p90x, then TRS I do Insanity, on T & R i have softball games, so i can't figure out how much to or if i am eating enough because i am constantly doing something. i've upped my calories from 1400 to 1700 then up again to 2000-2200. so how do i figure out how much to eat with this kind of activity to make the scale move because the measuring isn't that reassuring at the moment.

Girl! Clean up your diet! Hostess donuts every day!!!??? Wooooo!!!!! I can't even imagine!!!!
But seriously.......your diet is filled with a LOT of really empty, useless calories that are doing nothing for you but adding bad fats, really.
We are about the same size. You didn't mention how often you work out, but if you're working out 5-6 days a week, then I would go back to the between 14 and 1700 calories, but work on putting better quality calories in and try to get more protein.0 -
Add me as a friend if you will give me a minimum of 2 weeks following exactly what I say to eat and promise not to waste my time0

i work out 6 days a week with p90x, insanity, walking, and softball, pretty sure 1400-1700 won't help, what i need to know is should my calorie intake change from day to day because t & r are really high calorie burners with insanity and softball and usually a 2 mile walk all in one day. yes my diet is not great, i can't stand most foods, but i am trying to change that gradually. thanks for the advice.0

If you are working out 6 days a week, I'd keep my calories as consistent as possible. But I doubt you are going to see much change eating 2000 calories of such cruddy food. Just sayin.0

Change your diet. Eating all junk food isn't doing you any good. Losing weight is 20% exercise and 80% diet. Unless you're willing to eat some healthy food and cut out the cookies and hostess addiction you're likely not going to see much change.0

ok i just cut almost all the crap out of my food list, today so far my protein is way up (109 so far) and carbs are pretty low (74 so far). i'll try hard to stay on track here and see if this helps more. thanks y'all.0

Remind me never to let you see my diary
OP - you can see changes. I would suggest you read this:

Figure out your BMR, TDEE and then take a 20% cut from your TDEE. Note - if you are working out 6 days a week, you are highly/very active. Use that setting (don't try to go for moderately active....it won't be enough.....that's why you are stalled out right now).0
