Go to the "Food" tab and then select "Recipes". Then select "Enter a recipe now". There will be a field for you to enter the recipe name. Then click "Add ingredient" and repeat until you've entered everything. When you are done you will click a button to indicate you are finished and you will have a choice to save the recipe, and I think you can also make it available for other myfitnesspal users to use, as well.0

This is mainly correct, although I have not yet found a way to share recipes. When you've finished the recipe, remember to key in the number of servings!
Unfortunately, MFP doesn't give you a way to enter the directions.0 -
So for exemple when you enter sugar do you put what is on the box (ex: 1 cup pers. give your so many cal.) are you really put what its asking in the in the recipe (ex: 3-4 cup)?0

You would put in the ingredients you put in the recipe. So if you used 3/4 cups of sugar you would add 3/4 cup of sugar to the recipe. Put in the amounts you put when you listed it out above.0

You need to enter the amount that is in the recipe.
As your recipe calls for 3/4 cup, you can find an entry that has a serving size of 1 cup sugar and you would enter a quantity of 0.75 (eg. 3/4).
You do this for all the ingredients and then you enter the number of muffins that the recipe makes (12 for example).
Once you have saved the recipe you can add it to your diary, 1 "serve" = 1 muffin.0 -
is there a way to look up someone elses recipes? or.. just your own saved recipes?0

No, there isn't a way to share recipes in the database, you can only access your own.
(I'm pretty sure there is a way to copy a meal from one person to another if you are using the app, but not for recipes as far as I'm aware).0 -
Thanks Ladies :-)0
