Three well balanced meals, cut down on sugar & junk food. Move around more, even just walking for twenty minutes a day does wonders. Good luck :)

Per my doctors orders I am on a low carb diet. She advised me to keep it under 100 grams per day. I have gradually reduced it to around 50 grams most days, eat protein & fats & I am not hungry. I have lost twelve lbs in under two months & this is very do-able. Their is a low carb group on MFP too.

Give up the junk, eat clean, drink lots of water, AND move more. The only recipe I have found that works. To eat clean, the secret is to shop around the outside of the grocery store. Avoid all the processed crap in most of the aisles. Which also works for giving up the junk. Invest in a brita (or similar) and drink from there. I recently bought the water bottle, which I use all day at work. I'll drink anywhere from 1 to 4 of them a day, depending on how I'm feeling. Find a type of "exercise" that doesn't feel like a chore to do, and do it! I like a lot of dance type workouts, so I do them alot. I enjoy it, and it doesn't feel like exercise to me. I also enjoy yoga, and started taking a class last fall. It's been great!

Low carb helped me a lot. I found it easy to eat low calorie if I was also eating high protein/low carb.

I'd be interested in knowing more about this group. I have limited my sugar intake to 26 grams a day unless on workout days I go a little higher.

I've cleaned up my diet quite a bit. No processed foods, more water, cut out most soda, more whole foods and less sugar. I have done two days of bootcamp classes and 2 days of interval training. Still not seeing much results :(

I became vegan for the weight loss benefits. It's really effective; after the conclusion of my first month, I've lost 12 pounds. However, the dietary restrictions on meat, milk, and eggs aren't the easiest to follow and I don't work out, so the best advice I have is make half your diet fruits and vegetables. Some fruit at breakfast, Some salad at lunch, a piece of fruit for a snack, some more salad at dinner, and BAM!- well balanced diet
