TDEE and BMR question

SO I did all the equations and stuff to figure out my BMR and TDEE and with eating TDEE -20% that puts me at 1786 calories per day. I used the moderate level of exercise with working out 3-4 times per week.
First off that seems like alot of calories and second am I supposed to eat the same amount of calories on the days I don't work out too? That certainly seems like alot if I'm not burning much. Any help is appreciated.

Yes you eat that amount daily regardless if you exercise or not. You have already accounted for your activity level into the calorie equation. I would recommend reading Fat 2 Fit if you haven't already. They explain things in such a simple and clear manner.0
