Try chewing sugar free gum or drinking a large glass of water. Also, if you eat foods high in fiber you will feel fuller longer.

If you've got the calories, nothing wrong with snacking!!! I had a cucumber and dipped it in hummos before bed last night. Yuuuuuum!

Tea really helps me when I cant help myself!

I have also found that staying up late is the culprit to my late night snacking. Figure, dinner is at 6:30...by 9:30 my body should eat something, right? (Based on eating every three hours). So if I'm up till 12:30, technically, should have eaten twice since dinner! If I know its going to be a late night, I'll make dinner only be 250-300 calories; that way I can eat again without going over my calories.

I've been able to curb unwarranted cravings with hot green tea before. Don't know why I don't do it more often....
  • For me if I am hungry before bed I always have some veggies. If I don't listen to my body I wake up desperately hungry in the middle of the night, unable to sleep.

I tried herbal tea this afternoon when I was hungry and it totally help! I think I will try it again if I get hungry before bed, but I still have a few calories for a healthy snack later on.
