Everybody's got one or two nicknames for their kids, but I'm wondering if anyone has names as weird as what we've come up with (we get really bored, sometimes!) for our 8 mo old son, Oliver. Here's a list. Some nicknames are obvious in origin and naturally-occurring, others...not so much.

Ollie
Ollie-Wollie
Polliwog
Ollie Ollie Oxen-Free
BabySon
Hobbler
Hovver
Hovver No-Teef
Mammoose (my word for "monster" when I was little)
Paco Joe-James
Ooodle-Ollie-Oodle-Ollie-Golly-What-A-Day
Monkey Magic
Oliver "Grand Teton" Thomas
Pungus
Cranky-Stanky Snottapotamus (Cranky-Stank for short)

What do you call your kids? I want to hear the weirdest names you've got!

We call our youngest (1-yr old girl) Honey Badger cause she takes what she wants and will eat anything! We love our little Honey Badger.

    my wife goes by "Mama"

You gave yourself away when you said "They're."

I think we're pretty boring with our nick names...

Son = Cameron (Cam, Cam-Cam, Camera-ameron, Buddy, Baby Boy - Me only)
Daughter = Colleen (Princess, Baby Girl - Me only, Snugglebug, pretty girl)

    More pet names than anything...

My oldest is 5, so we don't have as many nicknames for him as we used to, and my youngest 3, but here are ones I remember.

    DS1 Avery
    A-Rob
    A-Bob
    Avvie
    Big foot
Tooter Scooter (he had a lot of gas as a baby)
    Rolly poley
    Baby blue

    DS2 Barrett
    Bear
    Baby Bear
    Bear-Bear
    Bearoski
    Bearzitts
    Crankopotumas
    Poops-A-doo

We still call DS2 Bear a lot, I think that may be one that follows him long term.

My 13-year-old step-daughter's name is Drew. We call her Drewsie.

My 4-year-old little girl has always been Boog/Boogs/Boogsie to her Daddy and sister. I have a feeling it might stick.

We call our 20-month old little boy Buddy.

Our kids are hardly ever called by their real names.

This is not my kids nickname but... Last year in school she had sex education. They learned the word fetus. She was born at only 24 weeks and was tiny. She asked me if she was a fetus. I told her technically no, once the baby comes out it's a baby. But because she was so small she wanted her friends to call her 'fetus'. For a while some of her friends did and it drove me nuts, but they forgot about it over the summer.
