Tired of nuts

Quick background... I'm starting the 'Paleo' diet. For those who this is new to... I'm not eating grain, dairy, or starch products (to start).

With that being said, the basic macros I'm sticking to are 45%fat, 40% protein, and 15% carbs (around 100g/day).

My issue is, I keep having a huge calorie deficit every day (I have 1800 calories left for dinner.) "oh no" you say right?
-I don't want THAT big of a deficit, considering my typical dinner is 600-800 calories.

I know nuts are a great way to increase calories, but honestly.. I can only take so many. (insert gay joke here).
-I have pistachios, almonds, walnuts, and pecans at home. They're all getting 'old'

Pretty much, I'm just looking for quality, high calorie foods that don't incorporate a lot of sugar or grain.

Hahahaha. Wait, is that a joke?

Oils are an easy solution, as they don't make you feel full. Make a salad with a homemade oil based vinaigrette, saute your fav vegetables in oil, coat veg in it and roast them in the oven, etc. using whatever your favorite healthy oil is.

Also, to avoid big deficits I would always pre-log food. That way if I entered everything I planned to eat and saw big deficits, I could add in snacks or more calories at each meal.

Either you're not logging, or your not eating. I'd suggest doing both before guessing your daily caloric intake.

I was into paleo and have since gone back to 'everything in moderation' (giving up dairy killed me) but I when I was following strict I would bake using coconut flour, make spinach/beef muffins, have smoked salmon or beef jerkey. It is hard but can be really beneficial. Good luck.

I have days where I log everything and days I don't. Decided to get my workout schedule set before I start focusing on the logging. I keep a mental track and then round up for the typical underestimating.
