You are worried that 74g of carbs are too low? I eat over 150g a day usually, just how low a calorie goal are you on ? Unless you are specifically aiming to do low carb, there is no way on earth that is a high number of carbs.

Are you doing Atkins? What is IF?

Agreed ^^ My carb level can be as much as 200 because of the intensity of my workouts and burning between 1000 and 1500 calories. 74 is nothing so stop worrying. :-)

All that matters is a calorie deficit. Macros don't matter. 74g of carbs is not big deal. Great job on intermittent fasting though, I dig that. You will lose weight if your calories are at a deficit, it's all that matters, anything else makes it too complicated. Just eat what you like, mostly healthy (duh, we all know what healthy is), and eat some protein, carbs, and fat.

Your carbs are fine, but your fat is a little low. You can change your percentages by going to goals, click change goals, then change whatever you want in your macros. If you change your percentages, then you will know how many carbs are too many. I think your calories are too low, but I don't do IF.

I think they mean intermittent fasting. If so you don't understand the concept of that at all. Honestly you sound like you might need some professional help because this has eating disorder written all over it. And you don't sound old enough to be on this site either....

I just looked at your diary. Most days you are only eating about half your calorie goal. I don't know much about IF, but I don't think it means you are supposed to starve yourself. If your goal is 1900 calories a day, you shouldn't be averaging 600-800.

Thanks for the advice nd the quick tip for changing the setting I'm currently new to MFP i only use it to track my calories nd macros and really well MFP suggested 2200 but I cut it to 1920 so that way I'll be at a deficit anyways

Wow great advice.... Except if you would have actually checked his diary he eats less than 1000 calories a day so by you telling him great job you just confirmed to him that his poor habits were ok.

    Essentially this^^

You should aim at eating 20% below your TDEE to lose weight. Even without exercise though working out will help. You are DEFINITELY not eating enough during the day. Not good for you by any means. EAT MORE. Please.

You eat processed and fast food daily. And that's all you eat. Eat cleaner and eat more.

Being "afraid" of how much you are eating (whether total calories or carbohydrates) is not healthy. It's fine to want to be healthier, but eating a semi-starvation diet largely composed of fast food and other junk is NOT healthy. Being afraid that you eating too much (whether too many calories, too much fat, too many carbs etc.) is not a healthy way to live your life and could be a sign of an eating disorder.

I personally do well with carbs,i eat anywhere between 250-300gms of carbs.
I also eat an average of 2000 calories a day which is 15% of my tdee and seem to lose body fat% just fine.
Its not quick-but it does come down.

Macronutrients absolutely matter a great deal if you care about body composition. I'm going to go out on a limb and make the assumption that you do care about body composition.

Protein needs will vary based on your training experience, calorie deficit size, and other factors, so it would hard to give you very specific advice, however a good starting point would be as follows, assuming you're doing regular exercise and hopefully lifting a bit:

    20% under TDEE for cutting.
    1g/lb LBM in protein MINIMUM
    .35g/lb bodyweight in fat MINIMUM
    remainder in carbohydrate.

It shouldn't be unrealistic to see carbohydrate intakes in the 150-300g range depending on TDEE.

At 2200 kcal I will try not to go under 200g CHO for performance reasons. Just mentioning this as an example.

None in particular, I get 3 1 hr cardio sessions and 3 weight training/circuit training session in the week.I mix it up,coz i get bored very easily,So 1 day it can be just walking, then HIIT on elliptical, then maybe a P90x session for my legs and chest and back(i have bad knees) or Jillian micheals NMTZ,30 day shred, shred it with weights.....yoga,play badminton or go hiking/kayaking on the weekend.

For your information i have been on low calorie diets before with 0 progress,i slowly upped my calories, now my body is getting in terms of the food supply.I wear a body bugg,so i make sure on any given day i dont deficit less than 300 calories.

...no sir, actually, that's an excellent choice. I think you need to wait until you get a little bit older to join this site - maybe at least 16? Compare Honey Bunches of Oats to the four doughnuts you ate recently. Healthy choice between the two? I think it's fairly obvious. Do yourself a favor and eat more! But make it healthy!
