Did I understand it correctly?

I finally had the time to read all the newbie articles and I just want to make sure I understand it.

First, I am wondering if the most important thing is really the Net calorie number.
My calorie goal is 1370.
If I exercise, the calorie goal in my food diary is going to go up so that I eat back my exercise calories, right?
So is Net calorie goal also 1370?
And I will still lose weight, after my metabolism adjust, correct?

Thank you for your replies.

technically yes, but where are you getting you exercise calories from? If from a HRM then ok, but the MFP estimates are awful, and I would recommend only eating half of the exercise calories if they are from MFP numbers.

I'm sorry but what is HRM?
I use my Wii estimates. Another reason why I am kinda scared to eat back my exercise calories. lol

HRM= Heart rate monitor. I have no idea how accurate wii fit estimates are, when I first started exercising I did just dance just sweat and they were high also. Also, are you adding these onto 1200 or a reasonable starting point?
