Hi Guys,
I've used the site for a while, but for the past 2 months I've been idle due to a knee injury/surgery that generally stopped me doing anything remotely positive exercise wise. I have recently reset my weightloss tracker as I set myself some new goals and had gained some weight over the idle time, so it made sense to just strip it.
If anyone on here has been through similar things, leg/knee surgery and thinks they can share any tips of how to go about things and/or people who just want more motivation and think they could help me too, give me an add or something?
Cheers guys

One day at a time, I just had ACL replacement in June. I go to PT 3 times a week, but I have gained weight since the surgery. Just heal first, everything will come back.0

Worst thing is, is that I dont think the surgery helped at all. I will go back in 6 months and get them to take another look. Starting walking this week and, yeah.. stll got the same pain!0 -
What did you have done? I was sent home with machine that moved my knee for 4 hours a day, plus started physical therapy the day after. The key was getting mobility back, I am now at full range of motion and for the most part feeling much better.0

4 years ago I had keyhole surgery where a big chunk of my kneecap which had been cracked during the injury, was removed. I also had cartilage shaving and some repair to my ligaments. This time around it was just a clean up, originally I thought hr would look into the problem I had expressed but instead it seems he just cleaned up some floating tissue and shaved again. Kinda annoying. I know the problem is still there but I need 6 months or so of active life. I can't handle being idle again.0 -
Ouch, Im sorry. That sounds very painful, you might need to find a pt that can show you a routine to help. Best of luck.0

I think the problem is on the bone so surgery will be the fix0
