Running - where do I start?

Ok, call me crazy but I have this re-occurring urge to learn how to run. I've never ran a day in my life and don't particularly like to exercise but the "idea" of running intrigues me. So my question to all you runners...where the heck do I start? Is there some kind of "entry level" program I can try??
Also, please feel free to add me if you'd like to cheer me on!!

Try couch to 5k, google it and you will find the running plan. I did it, most people on here will recommend it. Good luck0

Just like the other member mentioned, use C25K free (couch 2 5k). I use the free edition, and I love it!! They have other apps like C210k and so forth. I have an iPhone, but the app store has a million train to run apps. Good luck!!!0

GET GOOD SHOES!!
I started C25K earlier this week and haven't worked out since because I strained my hamstring and I blame my shoes. I knew I needed new ones but hit the goal at which I had long planned to start running (below 200 pounds) earlier than I expected and didn't want to wait.0
