World of Warcraft?

Personally not thrilled by MoP so far... Up until level 14 it was semi-cool, then I chose my faction & now I'm doing all the same quests I've already done.0

I haven't played WOW in months. Absolutely not excited about the expansion. It just doesn't hold my attention anymore. I started playing just before Burning Crusade came out and played religiously until Cata came out. I lost interested shortly afterwards. So not worth me wasting my time on it anymore.0

Long time EQ'r here, and then it was EQII.. and for a short stint, I played RIFT... but WoW? Never in a million years lol. No offense intended. I just never got the interest in WoW. I didn't like the game play, the world, the characters. I loved EverQuest for years (I played for almost 9 years) and then EverQuest II for almost 6 years. I lost gaming interest about 2 years ago though after yet another bout of obsessing over it and decided that my MMO days are over. It wasn't worth the cost to my rl. I have quite the OCD tendencies and gaming was my prime obsession for... well.. almost 10 years I guess .
Still a gamer girl at heart.. just lacking the games these days. I have realized that I am slowly becoming an exercise/fitness lover! Who knew?0 -
I have been trying really hard to stay away from MoP.
I quit back in July.
I hope those who are playing are enjoying it though.0 -
I've been playing for the last 8 months (before that, I played when it first came out, and for years -- took a break for quite a few years ). I'm on the yearly plan (so I could get D3 for free), so I'll be playing at least for a few more months. I've been so busy that I haven't played more than once or twice a month. But, I'm on the proudmore and bladefist sever currently. My characters are lame -- I'm not even to level 60 yet with any character0

I just hit level 85 last night, so I explored Pandaria a bit - it wasn't too exciting to me. I have no interest in creating a panda for a while though, just like when DK's came out, I feel they will be too overpopulated.
I previously played WoW shortly before BC was released and quit shortly after WotLK came out. Recently started back up again in August of this year. I still enjoy it just as much as I used to (whether that's good or bad, I don't know! lol).
I haven't tried a lot of other MMO's - only one would be LOTRO because my b/f plays it. But it didn't stick. I prefer the socialness of WoW and I also love my PvP action
But I am definately not offended by someone not liking WoW... like I said, I haven't played a lot of MMO's so I'm sure there are much better ones out there, it's just my niche right now, lol.
I think it's cool that all the replies have been from chicks so far (as far as I can tell anyway)! Gamer girls for the win! :drinker:0 -

○ We raid Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Times subject to be reviewed for MoP!
○ Several of us have been raiding together for close to 6 years. Come enjoy being part of this guild! Members must share our common goal. First and foremost we want to stress that this is not a guild for your alt. We are a guild focused on defeating the most difficult encounters in the game. We work as a team to reach our goals and when we raid, we are working as one well-oiled machine, rather than a group of people working for their own benefit. If your primary focus in the high-end game is to acquire loot, then we are not the right guild for you. We consider loot to be a byproduct of our goals, which is to progress as a guild, crush endgame content and have fun while doing it. We are looking for players who are tired of not quite getting there, and would like to experience the top tier content that MoP has to offer!
Send us a message today for more information!

Personally not thrilled by MoP so far... Up until level 14 it was semi-cool, then I chose my faction & now I'm doing all the same quests I've already done.
Unfortunately, that's pretty much what it's like. Although, of course, for most of the low to medium levels, there are different areas to quest in so you can get a little bit of change, too. But in general, it gets repetitive if you start many new characters. That's why most people I knew have only a few chars which they've leveled up and then do PvP, raids, etc. to get good gear or just for fun.
But I feel your pain. The questing is my main focus on WoW and it gets old quite soon.0 -
Right here! 85 hunter, 85 priest. grinding away at MoP! HORDE ALL THE WAY0

Ughhh good to know, since I'm newer. The Worgen really have the most intriguing beginning, I think, & I was hoping for more of that. Oh well. I guess it's just time to keep leveling up my few favorite characters!0 -
I haven't gotten a lot of time to play MoP, but I am just so relieved to have new content... I was so tired of raiding DS I wanted to shoot myself. I am happy with MoP so far.. getting to level 90 is friggin painful, but excited to start raiding! Going to be raiding as a tank this expansion, have never raided as a tank so I am excited for the new challenges!0

Yes, the low level quests in most of the starting areas for the new races are a lot more fun than the original ones. I don't know how high up you are but some of the later Cataclysm quests are also quite fun.0 -

I haven't tried the Worgen yet, buy I would start one of those before a panda currently, lol. I think my goal right now is to max level my priest, and work on getting her some nice gear and start raiding as heals. No plans for any alt characters for a while, I like having one fairly decently geared character before I move on.0 -

I have yet to join any guilds/do any raiding etc. I'm not so much into the social aspect, but apparently that's where all the good stuff lies lol0 -
I used to but I know a lot of my friends who still play said they weren't like MoP so far! So I didn't bother to renew.0
-
I used to, but then I realized wow sucks.0

Mind = blown at the female: world of warcraft ratio in this thread0

I play WoW!
I am on the Farstriders server and my name is Celesteleigh if anyone wants to play!
I really love MFP so far. I cancelled WW to do this and I seem to find this easier!0 -
My husband got me into it! Love the game!0
-
I used to play WoW but quit shortly before the Lich King expansion came out because I found another game that more suited my style of play: EVE Online. I have since then quit MMOs in general however.0

Same played vanilla -> wrath on and off
I haven't played in years, and not sure I would want too.
If i play games i like quick games, ones that don't consume lots of time.0 -
Renewed last month for MoP. Havent had a whole lot of time to play since Tuesday, but I hit 86 last night.
I'm glad theres new content, and just looking forward to leveling my professions and get some raiding gear on the go!0 -
I will add this. Good thing I played Horde, otherwise date number 2 would never have happened with my wife! =P And that's what SHE says!0

LOLOLOL
That is actually really cool. My ex wife played with me, but she only played because I did.
She really didn't get into it.
That being said, it would be awesome if I could find myself a female who actually likes games.
So grats man, sounds like you got a good catch!0 -
I play, but I'm one those weirdies who likes to farm, loves their characters, and recycles them around 55 or so. I just kind of plod along and do my own thing. I restarted recently, I have a lvl 12 Blood Elf Warlock on Steamwheedle Cartel.
I'm really not into MoP. You give me Death Knights, Dranei, Were wolves, and destroy the freakin world. Now I get Kung fu panda. Nope, not my thing. I like my char. hot and bad@ss, thank you very much.0 -

I wish they had given us a cat class like
0 -
That would have been badness!
Edited because I realized that saying this aloud proclaims how awesome I think that idea is. Written it doesn't come across as well, sorry.0 -
The cat people would have been fun. I like char that are original, hot, dangerous, and have an interesting back story. I also hate pandas in real life. They are too depressed to get it on and make more pandas.0
