Hey guys, I've been on here a while but just moved back to the Portland/Vancouver area. Wanted to see if there were others as I am sure there are, and if anyone knows of any good running/hiking/activity groups? Or if anyone would want to be active together or just support!

I just moved away from there. Since I have been gone, I realize how much of a bummer the gloomy days there are for me. Not trying to get you down, of course, I think it just affected me more than most people.
Hope you find the groups/support you need.0 -
Haha, I am used to the gloom, but I know what you mean.

Welcome! I live about an hour SW of Portland so don't go up that way much. The one thing that I think sounds like a lot of fun but because of the distance I haven't been is Fit Right NW, a running store, has a monthly fun run at their Portland store. It's explained here. It sounds like a fun running event that you can win prizes at and hang out with other runners and walkers. http://www.fit-right-nw.com/
There are lots of places to go hiking, running, boating etc. Just please don't go biking out in the country. I live on country roads and having bicycles on the no shoulder, blind corner 55 mph roads is very dangerous. If you want to bike I have heard that the Vernonia trail is great for that.
Have fun exploring.0 -

West of Portland half way to the Coast.
Portland has a ton of wonderful walking/hiking/biking areas.
Also local farmers also have product at farmers markets and in some of the local stores for great freshness.0
