October 30 Day Shred!

I am determined I am going to start this thing October 1st, and finish it! Anyone up for doing the 30 days with me? We can post some before and after pics, and motivate one another throughout! I tried it out to see what the fuss was all about, and I have looked at other folks' results, and it looks like it could be worth the effort!

    Im in, was gonna start this week but lost the disk, now found, so decided to wait till Monday!

    Im planning on doing it all week then weekend off, 2 weeks per level.

    Im hoping for some good results again! Looking forward to it!

    Well today's start day!

    Im doing it in a bit. Was meant to weigh and measure today but woke up late and had to panic to get kids sorted! So will do it as normal tomorrow!

    i tried to access this and couldnt find the group. I used to shred last year and it is great I am now unfit and fat again but am going to start today.

    Im planning on doing that way to, my weekends are ruled by rugby this time of year so its easier to have them off instead of getting humpy ive missed it lol

    I won't/don't post pictures, but I am doing the 30DS also.
    Reached DAY 10 - level 1 this morning.

    I will start DAY 11 - level 2 tomorrow morning. I've already watched the level 2 portion to get an idea, wow. It should be a butt kicker and I really need that right now! :ohwell:

    I'M IN!!! I need some motivation to get started! So, today's the day!
    I have been slacking lately, and tried to start it a week ago... did 2 days, and stopped.
    This will be my 2nd time through it, so I'm using weights (or heavier weights) this time around!

  • I'm in! I started this morning. Weird I can do 60 minutes of Zumba and not have to stop.....this video worked me today! Question on logging it in MFP....I couldn't find it in the exercise search - how are you logging this?

    Day 11 of 30DS, Level 2. (first time this morning!)

    Physically it's a bit more challenging, biggest thing, I think, is you have to have really good coordination. I kind of sucked at that part! :laugh:

    Day 2 level one done for me, burnt more today, 289 must have been trying harder! lol

    I log it as my HRM says.

    Okay, count me in... a day late. I just posted my own thread regarding an October challenge but then I found this one, so I'll just jump in instead of being repetitive & posting another. Starting mine this evening once I get home from work & band boosters meeting. Night time, after everyone is in bed, is better for me than mornings.

    Completed day 1 yesterday... I'm certainly starting to feel it in my shoulders and legs today.

    Day 2 this afternoon. This is my second time through this program, so I plan to incorporate 3, 5, and 8lb weights this time... I think i'm going to be pretty sore at first!

    I finished day 2 yesterday, it does seem to be getting a little easier. the push ups kill my knees, but the jumping jacks are coming to me a little better than day one.

    Today will be day 4 for me... will try to get the workout done after a very long day at work, plus a dentist appt... at least it's just 28 minutes, so there is less chance to make an excuse!

    im doing it every other day. I need to mix it up or i will get tired of it fast. Im also doing pilates inbetween

    How's everyone doing? Feeling better? Stronger? I know I am! I have had a couple rest days, and one day I just didn't get it done. But again, feeling great! I can't wait to see the results. Keep up the good work everyone!!!
