It's getting cold! Can anyone recommend a running headband?

I do fine keeping warm when I'm running in 30ish but my ears are getting pretty cold, and I know that will get worse -it's barely fall. I've been googling running headbands but am finding sweatbands meant to be worn in the heat - can anyone recommend one for keeping my ears warm? I'd rather not a full fledged hat, I have very long hair and hats drive me crazy.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have a thin fleece headband that I wear on cold weather runs - works great! It's just enough to keep the wind off my ears and keep them warm enough. I've had it forever, so not sure where I got it, but maybe try REI, or Sierra Trading Post for online sources...or you might find something at Marshall's or TJ Maxx.
Can't imagine needing my cold weather running gear yet - we're stuck in summer here, near 100º this weekend. :frown:0 -
I haven't actually tried these yet, but will be purchasing one...

I usually go straight from bare headed to wearing a toque (may favourite for really cold weather has a built in fleece liner) but your local sporting goods store should have fleece headbands available.0

I am so glad the heat is gone, our warmest day here lately has been 60ish - when I got up to run the other day it was around freezing!
I looked at Lululemon but didn't see warm weather ones in their shop other than the full hat which will drive me crazy, but thank you!
I'll look up Prana, thanks!
I have no idea what a toque is so I'll go look that up! Thanks0 -
I just bought this and I love it:

I have one that i got from target- champion might be the brand- but it had a hole in the back for your ponytail if you have one and keeps your ears nice and toasty!0

Has anyone tried the beanies from Athleta with the holes in the back for the pony tail?
Also--suggestions for gloves? My worry is having too thick of gloves that will make my hands TOO warm and then I'll have to take them off and be cold.
Thanks!0 -
There are the lulu ones I wear! Not too heavy either

Underarmor (I believe its called "dryfit") Awesome awesome running headband that draws moisture to the outside - I ran all winter with mine last year.
(Edited to add glove suggestion) "Magic Gloves" are thin, stretchy, and also worked great for me running all winter. (And I live in a pretty cold area, haha.)0 -

Walmart. Under $7 your ears stay warm and you don't have to be pissed off if your kids lose them cuz they're not $35 ones lol
