You are burning a LOT of calories- over 4000 in one day I saw. Wow. So my guess is that you're adding muscle as you're losing fat. Muscle weighs more.

I'm not quite sure how you managed to burn 4000 & eat under 2000 that day, but you're the expert on your life, not me. I couldn't do that.

If what is in your food log is EVERYTHING you ate every day, then your body is going into starvation mode and holding on to everything that is coming in since you are not eating even 1200 calories on average each day. You NEED to eat at least 1200 a day to keep your metabolism going, otherwise it will crash and you can even gain weight from not eating much. Your daily goal is 1200 for calories, so hit that, and eat back exercise calories as well. People on here don't lose weight by NOT doing what MFP recommends and starving themselves. They do it by eating the suggested amount and getting exercise. All in all, EAT MORE FOOD!

People say it a lot and it's true - if you eat too little and are also burning loads of calories, your body will hold onto every pound it can because it thinks you are dying. The good news (it would be good news for me!) is that you can add calories and even scale down some exercise. Do the whole BMI thing and whatever that other calculation is so that MFB can help you very slowly but steadily the weight you need... and set a reasonable goal. We don't all need to be toothpicks. That's my two cents, anyway.

You're not eating enough, I don't think. You're averaging 1150 calories. And apparently burning some mean calories. This program is designed for you to eat your fitness calories back. I'm not sure if your calories burned are accurate. Do you use a Fitbit? That would account for some of the weird numbers. Regardless, I would up your calorie intake by 200 or so for a couple of weeks and see how that goes. How do you feel? Sluggish or full of energy? If the answer is sluggish, that's your body telling you that you aren't giving it enough fuel.

People hit plateaus, though. Don't freak out if the scale doesn't move for a week. Freak out when it doesn't move for several weeks.

Just out of interest, what did you do to lose 4000calories in one day ? Sounds extreme. Thursday looked a good day calorie wise, however that's where I stop as I can't talk regarding calories.

I didnt think it was right either, bought a step tracker and when I woke for work at 4:45am and I started tracking my daily steps I also have my 60 minute walking at the track at a faster pase... 3 mph. As for eating Im not hungry Im tracking everything except my water intake, should I eat/snack even know im not hungry?

960 minutes? so 16 hours of continuous walking at 2.5 mph? something sounds fishy here

No, no, no, no, no. Your pedometer (which I love) tracks your normal activity. That's what goes into your base calorie calculation.

It is NOT exercise on top of your normal activities.

I have burned that many calories in a day - hiking in the mountains. And you can't eat enough when you do that.

So my daily steps go in my database which gave me 4000+ calories burned for my 960 minutes. should I have minus the track time ?.... then I add my 60 minute track time in the exercise area?
UGH !! this is confusing !!!
