What's a troll on here mean? Heard this in a post, not sure what it is?

    This is the Urban Dictionary definition lol

    Someone who gets pleasure by typing annoying/controversial/offensive words at strangers on internet forums, for them to read.

    I didn't know til yesterday.

    technically you can solicit angry thoughts and emotions from the troll feeders and troll baiters.

    When you make a typo, you delete your entire post and type BUMP instead because your hand bumped the wrong key. Then you start over - eventually you'll get it right!

    People "bump" a post when they don't have a reply but want it to show in the "My Topics" section, usually to refer back to or read later replies.

    Bump means that, you like a thread but you have nothing to contribute, but you want someone else to contribute, or you don't want the thread to die.

    So you bump it.

    "Troll" comes from the fishing term where a baited line is dragged behind a moving boat. Online trolls do the same thing in concept...dangle something out there in the hopes of getting a "bite".

    Now you know. (and knowing is half the battle!)
