HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
It started with the arrival of the first child this morning (I am a home daycare provider). First child came in with a chocolate rose for me!. Second child came with a bag of mini snickers, for me! Luckily it is a slow day and only have one more child coming today!
The chocolate rose will be easy to avoid but those snickers might be hard. Why our most our holidays centered around candy? Why doesn't someone give me a give certificate for a back-rub?

Put the snickers in the freezer right away. Once they are hard and frozen you cant just dive into the whole bag. You would have to let them soften for a while and it gives you time to think about if you really want it that bad or not! Snickers is one of the only candy bars that freezes totaly rock solid!0

That's a fantastic idea! It was totally sweet of them to bring you candy...:smooched:
I hear ya though, it's hard especially with kids since they see it as a "Hey, we love you!" thing.
A back rub sure does sound heavenly today!
I would say just enjoy one and put the rest in the freezer like missyann said.
Have a great Valentine's Day!0 -
can u allow yourself to just eat one?? I know that would be hard but its all learning about self control!! You would be so proud of yourself if you could just eat like one a day.I mean a mini snickers is not that bad but it still gives you that sweet craving!! That would be something that you could challenege yourself to do! I don't know it may be a bad idea but just a suggestion!! Good luck!!

lol, I LOVE frozen snickers! They are my fav.
Sorry I know I'm not being helpful.
I work at a school and have gotten little sweet tarts, candy hearts, and candy cards-all easy for me to pass on. But I also got a BIG chocolate bar that is looking so good. :frown: It is hard. I am going to put them into the teacher lounge so they will be gone before I get the chance to change my mind and eat them!
Do you have a neighbor that you like? Maybe you could re-gift them? That way it spreads the love and gets them out of the house fast so it doesn't end up in your mouth when you are not paying attention.0
