Net calories?

So I know this is a stupid question but I put in my activity level and weight and it gives me 2400 calories for the day. S I eat 2400 or do I have to cut it so at the end of the day it says I have like 200 calories left

What did you put as your activity level?

MFP sets it up to give you a deficit INCLUDING your activity level already.
  • Very active. I work retail so i walk around Eight hours a day and I also exercise on my bike five days a week

Net calories are calories in (food) VS. calories out (exercise/activity)

Does this "very active" activity level include biking? If YES ..... then just eat 2400 calories (and do not log biking in). If the very active activity level does not include biking ..... then log biking and MFP will ADD more calories for that activity as well.

You might "test" the waters a bit. Just eat the 2400 .... and see how it goes. If you feel fatiged .... you may need to eat more. If you are not losing weight ... you may need to eat less.
