I didn't know where to post this so I thought that maybe it belonged under "Support"
.....
At any rate, it's a good idea. If you are in the GTA, get involved...If you are elsewhere, check out your community to see if they have anything similar. Lingerie is always in limited supply as a donation item....
"Whether you've dieted down a cup size or opted for implants, Secrets from Your Sister wants your no-longer-necessary bras.
Feb. 13 is Dead Bra Day on the Breast of Canada Calendar, and to support this initiative, the bra boutique is collecting unwanted lingerie in exchange for a fitting and a 25 per cent discount on a new bra. Your old bras will be donated to Sistering, a women's agency serving homeless, marginalized and low- income women in Toronto.
"We wanted to help women with a discount on their purchase so they can invest in a new, properly fitted bra, all the while donating to a worthwhile cause," says shop owner Jennifer Klein.
Bring your bras into 560 Bloor St. W. or 2501 Yonge St., between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. " from The Toronto Star

Sorry my warped side took over when I saw this thread. My kids used to watch KND (Kids Next Door) and there was an episode where one of the teenage girls started wearing a bra and KND thought it was some kind of new weapon and their 2 by 4 technology computer came up with Battle Ready Armor (BRA)  :laugh:0
