They don't have the calorie count, but I plugged in the recipe using generic ingredients and they came to around 50 calories a piece (based on them making 12).

Obviously depending on what ingredients you use it will be a slightly different calorie count, but hey they've got to be better for you than a traditional donut right?

I thought maybe you could sub the protein powder for greek yoghurt or applesauce? Hmmm..

Anyway I thought they looked yum! I will be trying these :)

These look fantastic! I may try it with canned pure pumpkin, just for the ease, and use low sodium baking powder.

The link doesn't seem to be taking me anywhere... would it be too hard to post the recipie? I googled it but the first one that came up was by Paula Deen and I'm sure that one isn't healthy! LOL

Working fine for me but here you go:
    Ingredients:

    1.5 Cup cooked sweet potato

    1/2 Cup whole wheat flour

    1/2 Cup Vanilla protein powder

    1 tsp cinnamon

    2 tsp baking powder

    DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 4 1 0 degrees. Mix ingredients in large bowl .

Form 10 – 12 balls. Place on non-stick cookie sheet.

Press through center of balls with the end of a mixing spoon to create hole.

    Bake for about 20 minutes.

Baking time may vary. (17 minutes in my convection oven).

    Sprinkle with sweetener, if desired.

    Enjoy!

Looks yummy and bumping for later.

I made these tonight with vanilla egg protein powder and swapped the flour for ground up gluten free oatmeal. My stats: 57 cal, 0.4g fat, 8g carb, 5g protein and they were delicious!!!!!!
