I have 20 more to go

I only have 20 more pounds to go! And I am struggling with it. I don't know if I will ever get there or if I will just stay where I am. Does anyone else have this problem.? I feel like I am stuck. I am loosing weight just not at the rate i once was. I have started lifting more and I am building muscle. But sometimes I just feel like I'm not gonna make it.......

Of course you are! Look how far you have come.... When u started I bet u didn't think u would even get this far?

Have u thought about acing a break? I don't mean a mad binge of eating everything and doing no exercise, but maybe a week at maintenance and just a bit of light exercise... Then you might feel like you WANT to get back to it?

One thing you need to realise is that the last pounds are the hardest to get off, so u should only expect 1/2 to 1lb per week loss from now on... Patience is key!!

^^^THIS. It took me 4 months to lose my first 23 pounds and 8 months to lose the last 22 pounds. Hang in there and it will happen.

I have 18 more. I know what ya mean. I've had to change the way I do things to keep loss up. I can't stop now. I have to get there. Just keep thinking that! Good Luck!!

Definitely sounds like you've hit a plateau. You'll need to tweak a few things to get going again. You don't have to add lifting if you are afraid you'll bulk up. You could do an extra 15 - 20 minutes of cardio a day. Maybe cut out one snack per day just to get re-adjusted to your new weight. Just curious...are you eating your exercise calories? If so you might could try not eating the exercise calories and see if your weight starts dropping again.

I agree with the other poster that said "you can do it. look how far you've come"!

You're totally going to make it. Don't focus on that last 20 though, remember the journey thus far. The finish like is in your line of sight. You've GOT this!!! So very proud and inspired.
