Caffeine and weight loss?

I've heard that it helps with weight loss and I've also heard that it doesn't help with weight loss... What are your experiences with your caffeine consumption and your weight loss?

    I find it really helps, everyone is different just try it out and see! I have very low energy and I have caffeine pills I take in the morning and I delay breakfast and this really helps burn the fat!
  • I also find it helpful, but you have to drink more water than normal to compensate because it retains water. I feel like Im constantly drinking! But Id rather that than give up my Red Bull and Pepsi Max!!!

    2pm energy drink is VERY useful in getting me to 5 pm on my Fast-5 (5pm - 10 pm window)

    Ummm, no, caffeine does not burn fat. It might give you energy to get up and get moving. Maybe this is what you mean but the way you stated it sounds like the caffeine magically makes the fat go away.


    For me, I find it that if I drink a cup of coffee with a tablespoon of milk will stop me from snacking on unhealthy things.
  • Caffiene is effective in giving yo the get up and go you need.. but for people (like me) with Thyroid/anxiety issues it just serves to contribute to panic attacks.. so for me I have chosen to just take my vitamins at the midday point when my energy runs down.. good natural energy from fruits and veggies are my favorite source of energy. Aldo.. I just gave up my addiction to junk food.. I dont think I'm fixing the problem if I just replace my old unhealthy junkfood addiction with a new unhealthy one.. just my opinion. But I guess for some people it could have benefits.. as long as you only drink it in the morning.. if not you wont be able to sleep.
