OK - who's up to trying to lose 5 pounds in October? Here's how it works:
Let's see how many total pounds we can lose in October. Aim for 5, then let us know at month's end what your total is.
Here's what you do:

Just for fun: Given that this is October with the fun event called Halloween, what is the spookiest, eeriest, most frightening or just plain bizzare thing that has happened to you since you started to lose weight?
Two years ago I bought a shirt that looked like a huge jack o lantern face and wore it as my costume. After losing weight, I looked at the picture and realized just how my rotund shape made me look like a pumpkin! EEEEEEKKKKK!

The eeriest thing that has happened to me since I started losing weight is people who I haven't seen for awhile (clients, aquaintances, etc) not being able to recognize me.0 -

The weirdest thing for me losing weight was thinking that I knew exactly how a pair of jeans fit... only to find them hanging off of my butt. What I think I look like and what I look like now doesn't match up.0 -

Hi! Thanks for posting this October Challenge: it's coming at the perfect time for me. I haven't really been taking getting back in shape seriously until earlier this week. I haven't posted on this site before (or even really used my account more than a handful of times) so I'm happy and grateful to get started with each of you. Here are my stats. I'm looking forward to rocking October!

Scariest thing was a photo of me in my Halloween costume last year, with my extra chin...ugh. (see profile pics). I'm going to wear that costume again in a few weeks with only ONE chin! I would love to be at my goal weight by Halloween...what a treat that would be!0 -
