Does anyone know how to log in trail running? I know I am burning a lot more calories by doing trail instead of road. Currently, I have been logging them in as just running though. These are hiking trails and I would get a lot more if I logged it in as hiking, but I am running them! Does anyone know how to get an accurate reading on this?

I used the calories on Runkeeper because it would at least include the elevation change in the calorie burn estimate.0

Heart Rate Monitor. I love mine. Got it at walmart. You can set it up with your height and weight. It was worth it in my opinion. I ahve a sportline.0

Seems like a gross overestimate, but...

is it that much more that you need to log it?0

From what I have gathered trail running burns approximately 10% more calories than road running (unless you are running some insane mountain trails with a killer/extreme incline).0
