nothing. as long as you're not going way over 200 grams a day you're fine. aim for 1 gram of protein per lb of body mass or if you're obese, 1 gram of protein per lb of lean body mass.0

MFP sets protein low to start with your fine going over what mfp rec. I personaly have a goal to be over on protein each day0

I treat protein as a "goal" on here. Not a limit. Like fiber.
And I don't worry at all if I go over.

What happens if you go over in your protein in a day?
In other words - MFP's protein settings are very low. Unless you have liver/kidney problems, a significantly higher protein intake is helpful rather than harmful. Don't fret over "bulking up" - unless you're lifting very heavy and often, eating at a caloric excess and taking anabolic/androgenic steroids, it's not going to happen.0
