Hello everyrone! Just finalized my registration and had a quick tour of the site... Looks amazing!

I put on 20lbs over the last 10 years without being able to lose them for good. I turned 40 at the end of 2009 and I finally took the decision to lose the weight the right way! Hopefully this site will help to stay focused.

Not member of fitness club but considering it... I will have to be creative to find the strength do my workout at home by my self...

Your advice on how to start this new journey is more than welcome!

Thanks - Nat

Make sure you are honest with YOU... :flowerforyou: Logging all your foods, drinks, vitamins and don't forget to drink your 64 oz of water. Even if you don't get started at a gym until later - not to worry but you will eventually get into the spirit hanging around here.

Good luck on your journey to a healthier you! :flowerforyou:

I've been on this site for a month........its great to talk to others that are going through the same thing as you. Best advice I can give you is this.......keep track of what you're eating, drink your water, it does make a difference. Start exercising, slow at first and gradually progess and incorporate some weights also, which will help you lose weight as well. Welcome to the site, and enjoy the time here

If you're looking for ideas for workouts at home, try this site:

    Lots of variety, different levels.
  • Congratulations on your new journey! I hope that you will meet your goals and have tremendous success. I am also new. I have used other online self-help sites and this one seems to be the best so far. I too have gained 20 pounds that seem to really like the attachment to my body. I have decided that I look and feel so much better with minus these 20 pounds.
I work so I get up early on workdays and exercise with Gilad on FIT TV. It's the easiest to stay with b/c I have the convenience of my home. I have joined an aerobic class two days a week that helps keep me on track.
    Good luck!

    Hi everyone!

I was doing so good... and then, don't know what happened! Well, yes I know! I went on that cruise and it was like an end! Did not continue with my good behaviors when I came back...

Now, I am back and want to stick to it.

I will post my food and exercise on a daily basis like I used to do... hopefully, the results will follow!

    See you all here soon!
