Looking for Support Group

Hi everyone,
I've done a bit of searching and I'm a little lost. I am looking to join a support group on the boards here.
I am trying to lose 10lbs (at least). I have yet to start my workouts (waiting for shoes & orthotics).
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great!

Hey Tanya!
Most groups on here would be happy to have a new member! I belong to a few myself... they all let you customize your goals so I don't think that would be an issue. Just look further under motivation and support until you find a group that you want to join! Good luck!0 -
I can tell you what I have done. I have lost about 20 pounds since December. My brother is a personal trainer and he gave me some pointers. First I get on the treadmill for about 10 minutes at 4mph, then I run fast at 7mph for for about 2 minutes, then I go down to 5mph for about 2 minutes then to 4 mph for about 2 minutes then I repeat that till I have 20 minutes in then I walk at 4mph till i have 25 minutes in and then cool down. I do about 4 rounds of 15-20 reps on upper body 2 days a week and the same on lower body. we just picked exercises that targeted my problem areas. I also do abs 4 days a week. On days I am not doing weights I try to do some type of cardio for an hour on the other 2 days. I love Zumba. I allow myself one day for resting. I try to watch what I eat. No chocolate, coffee or caffenine. Alcohol on a limited basis, this slows you down. I hope this helps....0
