Need Help, Beer Lover

So I will just get straight to the point. Straight up I Love Beer (especially craft beers) and I couldn't picture myself never drinking it, but I was curious I know there are people on here who continue to drink beers and lose weight at the same time. My question is how have you done it because I have kind of come to a stop in the weight loss category, after getting off to such a great start! So how should I continue to drink beers (obviously fewer will help) and get back on track?

Drink fewer. :-)
Seriously though, I love beer too, and some of the beers I've had really pack a punch. Pumpkin Imperial Stout...totally delicious, and 300 calories. Brutal. So you might have to sacrifice the heaviest of the craft beers or drink fewer. Simple as that.
Otherwise, switch to Amstel Light.0 -

I make room for beer
I will do meal replacements throughout the day..for say.. breakfast and lunch (like protein shakes)... then have a good dinner... and with that A) My tolerance will suck, which leads to less drinking. The more weight you lose, your tolerance should drop too.
I used to be a hoss with beer. Now I can drink crappy corona light with limes and be buzzing after 3. Yes. I look like a nancy in front of my band mates, but the laugh is on them.. My bar tabs are really really light0 -
Hi, the only reason I managed to carry on drinking my beloved wine and still lose weight was to take the calories from my food quota, which probably tells you how much I like wine. Clearly this is not the answer long-term. You could work out like a demon but you need to be a certain type to do that - i.e. control / psychotic tendencies. If you're more of the couch potato, happy go lucky type, run a few miles to a decent pub every night and have has much beer as you like then get a cab home. Or just cut down, but take longer to drink it, so you think you've drunk more. Did that help at all??0

Beer is probably not the sole reason for your weight loss plateau, so changing your beer drinking habits may not help that much. What are your calories overall looking like? Exercise? It's all about making room for the things you like and portion control. Yesterday I ate three pumpkin muffins and still lost weight because I was still meeting my calorie goals.0

Well my loss stopped bc i work ridiculous hours in the summer and have very little time to exercise but now I have tons of time, but even still lately with the beer consumption I do stay under my calories by almost say 500 calories on most days and on other ill use just about all of them up.0 -

Meal Replacements sounds like something I will have to figure into, and cut down on a lot of the heavier beers at the same time. Thank you0 -
I work out for beer. If I need 400 extra calories to have 4 beers I will work out till I have burned 400 calories or more. If I only burn 200 I only get two beers. Beer is good.0

I just add the calories into my daily intake. I also love craft beers, in fact I am drinking one of my husbands home brews right now. It is a smoked maple wheat, and it is fantastic!!!!
I personally know that I would never keep to a diet plan (mine is totally calorie counting, with daily exercise) without adding my one beer a day (more on the weekend HAHA).
Sometimes when I am on the treadmill I find motivating myself with the thought that 30 more minutes gives me my beer helps me out. I truly only drink one or two a day at the most, but I won't give it up. For some it is the chocolate, or desserts, for me it's my nightly homebrew!!!0
