How can I get a good cal burn??

Ok, so here's the deal. I have been working out for nearly a year and now have a resting heart rate in the low 50's and if I stop moving for even just 30 seconds my heart rate drops below the "fat burning zone". This means that it is getting really difficult to get good calorie burns.
So, my question is.... other than lifting heavy and regularly (which I already do), is there anything else that I can do to get good calorie burns?
I do a lot of high intensity cardio ie. Les Mills Body Step and Body Attack, Zumba etc, cause I love it, but I still want to lose about 8kg and I've been stuck for the last couple of months. I'm getting very frustrated, please help! :ohwell:

Skip rope. You can do it anywhere and it's extremely effective in a short amount of time.
Here's a 10 min routine. Starting out, give yourself a break after each minute.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHk4mjlJ5cg&feature=share&list=PLFC9057ECEA401CCC

those aren't actual exercises. they are just a manner in which to perform exercise.0
