For the first time in my life!

For the first time in my entire life...yes ENTIRE life...I have a healthy BMI.
I've tried and failed so many times.
I did it. I really did it.
One of these days I'll post pics and tell my story.

How did I do it? I worked for it. I ate healthy 90% of the time. I walked a lot, lifted weights, made best friends with my fitbit. I kept my deficit between 250-500 calories a day. I refused to starve myself. I wanted to loose the fat and I didnt care how slowly I did it if it meant I would keep as much muscle as possible and wouldnt be miserable along the way. I ate more on the days I moved more...the fitbit helps with that. I still ate out and I still ate the foods I love. Luckily my diet was very good already..I just needed to move more and learn how much food my body really needed. Tracking on MFP and my fitbit gave me the information I needed to make it work.

Congratulations! It has to feel wonderful. I have a little ways to go yet but look forward to being able to feel that too.

You have a lot to be proud of in this accomplishment, as do so many taking the first steps and for the progress they have made towards their goals.

It is inspiring to have you share your success.

    Great Job!

It really is something to be proud of.

I'm currently 9 pounds away from being in the "Haelthy" BMI range.

Currently 193, I "should be" 185 or less.
  • congrats!!!! that must feel awesome!! ♥

    well done

    whats fit bit ?

A fitbit is an amazing little device that tracks steps, distance, flights of stairs, activity level, sleep and calories burned. Think pedometer on steroids or bodybug only more discreet and affordable. I adore mine! You can look them up online.
