Surprising things I've found I like...

...about this "lifestyle change." Primarily things that before I really got into exercising, I thought "what weirdos" or "ewww."

1. Getting up early in the mornings to work out. I am NOT a morning person, but I've discovered getting up and going earlier (especially on days I work) seems to set a routine and get me mentally ready for the day. I'm not as frazzled walking in at work.

2. The feeling of sweat dripping down my back or my face. Tells me I'm doing good work!

3. I hate missing a workout. I was sick last week and just hated the idea of missing my workouts. I just toned it down a bit.

4. I used to never like cooked broccoli--now, I love it steamed (as long as it's not overdone and mushy). Still don't care for cauliflower though...

5. I have more recipies in my rotation--more options for dinnertime!

Any others out there?

I too love the sweat and hate to miss a workout. Before I got a personal trainer I had never worked out consistantly and when I did workout it was half*** becasue I didn't know what it felt like to push myself. I was afraid of what it would feel like to really work hard, but now that I know I am addicted to it!

I forgot to add that I love that jello-like feeling my arms and legs get after a good hard workout!
