  • i got a trainer. I have achieve so much with her. I don't think I could've done it on my own. She pushes me to do more and to say I can do this.

Wedding dress shopping is in my not-too-far-off -future - I'm now working out 6 days a week!

Me vs me. Never resting til I am better than my best. Dreaming what may seem impossible. Chasing the unknown. Living my passion.

I love the feeling of being an athlete. I love being able to see what I can do that defies what people expect (being a woman who weights way over 200 lbs doing "real" push-ups on my toes). I love competing with myself.

Working out is the easy part for me...it's the eating, that's the tough piece to tackle :).

I workout because I love to eat. As I'm getting older, though, I am realizing that it's much harder to work off my food intake. I'm struggling with the nutrition piece of it, mostly because I've never had to worry about it before. As a teenager, I actually had to go on a weight gain diet, eating thousands of calories and drinking Ensure. I work out for a lot reasons. I like the feeling I get when I can lift a heavier weight, ride a steeper hill, go for a long, long bike ride and not feel winded. Also, I was 38 when my son was born. I want to be around for him for as long as I can, and not just on the sidelines. So, I push myself.

    I look in the mirror.
  • I like to workout cause I like to feel my muscles functional when I run at a certain pace after some months I want to run faster and I like to push myself and get the result I want sure making the changes I need in the diet, to have a fit heart for me means to take care of my own body and soul, the satisfaction I get from my own results is big, to see how my body react and what can give push me not to stop and to keep this lifestyle forever, I play other sports as well, I don't feel it as a duty but as having fun...now I have to loose 10 pounds but it's still not a duty to workout...sure I complain when my muscles are sore but inside I'm happy...
