What your purpose for wanting to do a cleanse/detox? What are you hoping to accomplish?

Why do you want to do a cleanse? Eat clean food in abundance and drink water.

Medical science does not support "detox / cleanses"

put vicks on your feet with socks, I hear this is a detox.

    No really.

But if you want to take a product, I've heard that 1st step pro-wellness makes one that is gentle on the digestive track. Again, I haven't taken it, but I do take some of their other products and am happy with them.

One is as ineffective as the next, so choose any.

Your liver and kidneys are specifically designed for detoxing and cleansing. So are your sweat glands, your pores and your skin as a whole.

Thus, feed your body good, whole foods so as to help your liver and kidneys work optimally. Then, work up a good sweat every day, and drink plenty of water to replenish and hydrate your cells.

No need for expensive rigorous cleanses.

Not gonna judge, but if you feel the need to do one, there is one on About.com that I've done, it requires eating real food, a good way to start clean eating, no juicing or starvation, though it does require you to drink a daily psyllium husk cocktail (yuk)

Lots of fruits, veggies and whole meats and fish. All found in nature and all contain very little sodium. Your organs do the rest.
