Shrimp and grits!
On the lower calorie side, spaghetti squash topped with sauteed shrimp and any other veggies of your choosing (like shrimp scampi without all the butter or the high calorie pasta).
Boiled shrimp (with a bunch of seasonings like Old Bay or Zataran's in the water).
Oh how I love shrimp...0 -
Ingredients:
Raw, cleaned, shelled shrimp
Sliced water chestnuts
Tamari sauce (soy sauce)
Bacon, cut slices into 1/3rds
toothpicks
marinate shrimp and water chestnuts in tamari sauce for about 15 minutes.
Take one shrimp, one water chestnut slice and wrap it in a piece of bacon (1/3 of a slice)
Secure bacon with a toothpick through the shrimp.
Arrange dozens (or hundreds) of them on a jelly roll sheet.
Bake in 400F oven until bacon starts to crisp (everyone has their own sense of doneness for bacon)
Try to limit yourself to under 50 at a time0
