homemade protein bar recipies please

Man I have so much going on where do I start?
I'm vegetarian. I try to eat higher protein. I am trying to cut out processed foods. Yet, I'm crazy busy and need food that I can grab and go.
So, I am looking for recipes for healthy protein bars please.

Thanks,

Karen

    Similar to a Lara Bar:
    - 1 cup medjool dates, pitted
    - 1/3 cup peanut butter

Blend in a food processor until smooth (might need to add a little bit of water), set in a baking pan and put in the fridge to firm up. Makea about 10 :)
  • Homemade Protein Bars

    8 scoops whey protein
1 cup old rolled oats oatmeal
2 tbsp natural, unsweetened cocoa (optional)
    3 tbsp flax seed
1/3 cup natural peanut butter (has a slightly watery consistency which is great for the bars)
    3 tbsp honey
    1/2 cup almond milk

In large mixing bowl add protein, oatmeal, cocoa, and flax seed and mix it with a spoon. Form a pocket with your dry mix and add the peanut butter, honey and almond milk. Use a wood spoon and mix it well.

Once it's nice and mixed spread it into a baking pan and put it into the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Remove then cut into bars. Put them on a plate or into zip lock bags and keep them in the fridge overnight or until you're ready to eat them.

    The entire mixture has:
    2140 calories
    230g protein
    170g carbs
    50g fat
