Which do you use more for bench pressing

    barbells, but I try to mix in both

    Dumbbells, bigger ROM.

    I lay on the stability ball and use dumb bells... :)

    Mostly bar, but mix it up with dumbbells (double press, flyes, etc)
    For going heavier Oly bar for sure, that's my favorite. Love the Oly bar. :)

    Both. I do mostly barbell bench press but every other week or every couple of weeks I will switch to dumbbells. It's good to switch things up. Everytime I switch, I improve on my weight and volume I can do.
  • Both - mix it up! If I had to choose I would choose dumbells for symmetrical strength gains and stability. Plus you can impact core by doing unilateral presses.

    I mix it up, but I also really like the Hammer Strength equipment now that I'm working out solo & don't have a spotter.

    bars but I've done dumbbells too..
  • Depends on the excercise and what the goal is. I use barbell for my bench. Sometimes I do dumbbell incline bench but I really think its a waste of time.
