    The only trouble with these is there may be a lot of little boys with the same name. My brother's name is Michael and it gets confusing. Although it seems like that name is becoming less popular.

    Do you have a family where all of the kids (or grandkids) start with the same letter? My cousins have (set1) Corey, Chelsea, and Charity... and (set2) Alicia and Austin. I'm not sure why... the previous generation didn't match names.

    No, we don't want that. Hubs and I aren't into the gimmick naming strategies really.

    My advice. 1) Make sure he will be able to spell it when he starts school. 2) Make sure it's something everyone else will know how to pronounce (it's freakin' awful when teachers, potential bosses, etc. can't get your name right and you have to correct them). 3) Make sure the initials of his name, nicknames, etc. are not cause for jesting from the other kids. It might be funny to YOU, but that's just not fair.

    My niece named her daughter Lillian… she ends up being called Lily… and has a last name of White. So, now she's Lily White… but she is definitely NOT, if you know what I mean! LOL

    HAHAHA I shouldn't laugh, but I love that! Lily White and she's definitely not!

    However if I ever have another boy I really want to go with Luke Edwin I just love the combo.
