I am having a hungry sort of day, i just want to eat food, to feel it in my mouth. I am not even hungry. just want to eat.

Help!!

    Try to keep yourself busy, if that doesn't work, chew gum or eat low calorie food. It'll pass! :D

    A couple of glasses of water, gum, or a sensible snack may do the trick.

    I ate chips... like fish n chips but no fish.

    I didnt eat batter or gluten or dairy... but i definitely knocked the hell out of my carb intake for the day and possibly went over on calories too.

    Oh well.

    Eat to live, don't live to eat. Find other ways to fill the emotional void and boredom. If you "must" have something then make better bad decisions. Chips (we call them french fries in the US) are horrible for you. If you would have eaten something like popcorn you would have been munching longer and had way less calories added to your diet.

    I heard/read that an apple and a glass of water will help with that...for me sometimes a glass of milk helps (which I don't like to do, cause I think milk is gross but keep it around for coffee/cooking/baking)

    I have days like that, too. Today, in fact. I've scheduled meals, and I keep telling myself "you can wait". And I can, but it's hard, no doubt about it. Between meals, I have water, maybe herb tea if it's cold.

    There's nothing to it but to do it, right?
  • i have the same cravings! I plan on keeping busy, doing tasks, reading, and drinking water!

    Love this!

    I think it was the sugar i had yesterday, it made me crave food massively. Back on the healthy stuff... it tastes better, i can eat more of it and mostly, it doesnt make me crave more food!

    Less sugar, much MUCH less yeast and i think i will cope a lot better :)
