I'm trying to follow a low-carb diet because of health issues. My question is:
I love drinkinking milk and it is a good source of protein but when I add it to my food diary, I see that it has a lot of carbs
Whats the deal? is milk good or bad on a low-carb diet?

You may be able to get away with it. I know I can. I also really like unsweetened almond milk.0

use cream and dilute with water. The lactose in cows milk gives it a carb level that isn't low.
Milk substitutes (coconut, almond etc) that are emulsions of oil/fat are low carb if not sweetened. Yoghurt ferments the lactose to acids so is also lower in carbs relative to protein.0 -
