Good Exercise Routine Suggestions

Currently, I'm looking to really get toned up after dropping 60 lbs. My trips to the gym usually consist of a lot of cardio but are light on strength training outside of core work. I'm struggling to get started on arm exercises and would love some suggestions on how to ease into it but not too easy.
