I'm a 37 YO who loves to joke about her weight, often you hear me tell my students to make sure there's a big enough gap between desks for my butt to fit, but seriously, anyone who knows me well enough knows it's all a farce.
The real story is I can't stand who I am, the person, yea she's great, the body she's in? Well let's just say it's ageing faster than the personality inside it. I love who I am, but I don't like the way I look. And reality check, I'm so comfortable in being me, the fat happy person, that change scares the hell out of me. So like most people I put it off and put it off. I've been here and done this all before, dropping a massive 30+kg, but hang on, I am almost back to that weight again, what happened? I got comfortable..... well doesn't that just prove that it's time to get uncomfortable again? I bet it does, so here I go.......... let's see if we can shake that weight again????
And NiceLoki, the topic is *just* for you ;)
